Page TopSoar | Animated High School Short Film
Everything from 0:00 to 1:27 was animated by me in Blender. To pull it off, I used UV projection mapping and a ridiculous amount of stock photos for the textures, plus I 3D modeled the environment assets (including an easter egg of the exact guitar I play in real life and the mandatory beginner donut sitting on the desk). I didn’t model the character itself, but I did rig it completely, including 3D modeling and implementing IK rigging and constraints for the mechanical arms to make their movement precise.
Slightly Weird Films
Page TopThese were high school projects made with an iPhone 11 (I think) and a MacBook Pro that wouldn't turn on unless it was plugged into a wall outlet, acting like it was on life support. Honestly, if a high schooler can pull off these editing chops and CGI on a dying laptop, imagine what I can do with a setup that actually works. Please do not judge me for this portion of my portfolio, this is purely to showcase my editing skills.
